We are Jason and Carla Handy, and our goal is to share our expertise in hotel management so hotel owners can enjoy the highest return possible.  I, Jason Handy, am a third generation hotelier. I have managed since 2002 and a Hampton Inn since December, 2006. We manage expenses using the Per Occupied Room (POR) strategy to help ensure a Rate of Return satisfactory to ownership. Our management style is very hands on. We do not delegate just any responsibility. The main way to seperate us from competetitors is in our fees. We only charge 3% of Gross Sales and then 10% of Net Sales after NOI hits 15% for the year, but your hotel will be managed like we own it.  If you are not in need of a management company, but you know someone who is, we will pay a finder's fee of our first quarterly management fee payment.  That could be $7,500 to $10,000 per hotel.  If you know an owner with five hotels, that could pay $50,000 and higher.

If you are considering investing in building a new hotel, please consider investing with us.  We have the qualifications of attaining a franchise much more likely, which banks demand for a franchise to be involved to lend.  We also will consider paying 75% to 100% of quarterly profit distributions no matter how the shares are split.  We are willing to do this in order to receive the management contract and ownership in our share of the building.

Are you considering investing?

We have been involved in four New Builds. Three Hampton Inns and a Country Hearth.  We have also been involved in purchasing existing hotels, like the Microtel above, and re-franchising.

My first job in a hotel was at the age of 12, and I have worked the rest of my life in a hotel. Even when I attended the University of Kentucky, earning my BBA in FInance, I worked front desk at the National Heritage Inn in Renfro Valley, KY.  

We believe large management companys will not value your property or investment like We will. While we are starting out small and steady, we can give considerable attention to you and the needs for your hotel. 

The 3% of Gross Sales also puts incentive on our performance to ensure expenses are in line in order to maximize the pay out of the 10% net sales fee. It is imperative that expenses are just right so that guest experience is not sacrificed resulting in lower room sales.
